This week has been fun for all as our visiting hours have begun, and we've had adults and children each of the three days. The big event on the "birthday" (six weeks) was swimming lessons. Each pup was taken separately into the water at a sandy boat launch and gently lowered into the water while I called each to shore. They are fantastic swimmers. Mom and Grandmom immediately caught on to what we were doing. Mom waited on shore to lick them dry, and Grandmom waded out to walk beside them for the last half of their swims. What a delightful experience.
The Hollerans visited this week and Chester took a couple of hundred pictures. Here are a few that allow you to see all the pups:
